If you have any concerns about your health or are feeling unwell, our Full Body Health Screen identifies multiple medical conditions and provides a comprehensive ‘snap shot’ of your current health. Components of this 28-biomarker panel include:

  • Liver function testing (LFTs, eight tests)
  • Urea and electrolytes (U+Es, five tests)
  • Kidney function (important for waste removal and blood filtration)
  • Haemoglobin (Hb, a marker of anaemia)
  • Sodium and potassium (Na+ and K+, metal ions)
  • Urea and creatine (metabolised waste products)
  • White cell count (infection marker; acute or chronic)

Many patients choose to repeat the Full Body Health Screen at multiple timepoints to view their progress.

    Toxicity Screen

    Heavy metal and toxin levels may be present in abnormal levels within the body as a result of breast implants or other sources. The Toxicity Screen is a total body screen for harmful circulating metals. We combine blood and urine tests to record the concentration of six heavy metals. Patients with abnormal metal levels may feel tired, lethargic, experience headaches, or notice skin or hair changes. The Toxicity Screen can be repeated before and after surgery, and help identify which toxins are present so these can be eliminated.

  • Menopause Status Blood Test

    Menopause Status

    Menopause typically happens at 45-50 years of age. However, about 1 in 10 women experience ‘pre-menopause’, an earlier hormone change from 40 years of age. Symptoms include fatigue, anxiety, hot flushes, sleeping issues, irregular periods, night sweats and mood changes. It is possible to experience Breast Implant Illness and menopause simultaneously, and many symptoms overlap. This Menopause Status test measures the female hormones: Follicle stimulating hormone (FSH) Luteinising hormone (LH) Oestrogen (OES) This will give an indication of your ovarian function and identify whether you might be entering menopause and therefore benefit from a discussion about alternative treatments before deciding what to do with your implants. If you are still having periods, please take the test on day 3 of your cycle.
